Remarkable Medicine for Kids

To save a child, you do whatever it takes. For the experts in medicine and surgery at American Family Children’s Hospital, that’s more than a mind-set — it’s a mission they’ve dedicated their lives to fulfilling.

For more than 100 years, the children’s hospital has been focused on caring for all kids, including the sickest and most seriously injured infants, children, and adolescents.

Please do whatever you can to ensure that the remarkable patient- and family-centered care can continue for generations to come. Your gift is critical to helping the American Family Children’s Hospital and the UW’s Department of Pediatrics conduct groundbreaking pediatric research and clinical trials that save lives, achieve the best outcomes possible, and remain among the nation’s top children’s hospitals. Every child is worth it.

Wisconsin Medicine is a partnership between world-leading medical institutions UW Health and the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, who have partnered for more than 100 years on innovative treatments, research, education, and compassionate patient care. Specially trained Child Life specialists help our patients and their families cope with being in the hospital by providing individualized therapeutic experiences. Child Life helps the hospital feel more like home by offering family meals, fun and distraction in the playrooms and the bedside, coordinated activities and visits from special guests.
